The much anticipated season is upon us, and will run from June 1st through July 15th for Federally permitted charter boats. During this time most of our charters are between 8 and 10 hours to maximize the size and amount of Red Snapper caught. The past few years the fishing has been phenominal for these tase fish and early indications show the same for this year! Often we can catch our limit of them and move on to other species to fill the fish box. This fishery has rebounded in ways no one could have ever imagined, with the hopes of lengthening the season to allow more access to fish them. During the first 2 weeks of opening our charters have enjoyed limits on every trip with a good average in size.
