We’ve had some great weather the past few weeks in Clearwater Florida allowing our boats to get out daily. The fishing is starting to be very productive with consistent temperatures in the low 70’s and light winds. With the arrival of warmer weather, we’re catching a huge variety of fish on our deep sea and inshore boats.
Starting with our inshore charters, this past week produced large Trout, ladyfish, black drum along with some Redfish and a few Snook. On a recent half day our anglers ended up with an inshore slam including a big Snook which was caught by the youngest angler on the boat! The 3 hour kids trips are producing plenty of action, keeping the youngsters busy the whole time. The 4 and 6 hour trips are targeting bigger fish and having success with patience being the key.
The deep sea boat has been enjoying a great Hogfish and Grouper bite with multiple trips getting into some jumbo Lane Snapper and Porgy. Right now the 6 hour charter has been producing the most variety and quality as the fish have moved out to slightly deeper water. As we head into spring, we’re looking forward to starting up our Goliath Grouper and shark fishing trips. This starts in April and May tends to be the best month. Now and into the summer months will be great fishing and is a perfect time to get out on the water. As always we are family and kid friendly. Below are a few pics from yesterdays charter.
