With perfect weather so far this month, we have been heading out almost every day with deep sea charters. Most of these trips we target the best eating fish, like Hogfish, Grouper, Cobia and snapper. There is also an abundance of Kingfish migrating through the offshore waters of Clearwater Beach. While the kings aren’t as tasty as the previously mentioned species, they put up a great fight and are typically smoked to use as fish spread. On our full day charters there is opportunity to catch the species most desirable for eating and also time to target the hard fighting kingfish. This run of good fishing in Clearwater should continue well in to next month.
