The title of this post says it all! The fishing has been nothing short of extraordinary lately, both deep sea and inshore. This is the result of several different factors but most notably the weather and water temperature. While February can be a tricky month to catch fish in Clearwater, this has not been the case this year. Offshore we are seeing great catches of Hogfish, Grouper, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Almaco Jacks and much more. Inshore is seeing steady action of Redfish, Trout, Snook, Flounder to name a few. If this pattern continues as we approach March, I suspect a continuation of red hot action. In addition we will start to see an increase in catches of Tripletail and Kingfish later in the month. Clearwater Florida has always been a phenomenal fishing destination, with beautiful water and a large diversity of marine life. From our 3 hour inshore kids trip to our full day deep sea fishing charters, and everything in between, both of our boats are ready to put you on the fish!
