The Gag Grouper bite has been phenomenal, with most 6 and 8 hour deep sea charters catching a limit easily. In addition to Grouper, Hogfish and Mangrove Snapper have been steady action. The Kingfish run has been lacking but should pick up soon after the next few cold fronts move through the area. Targeting Gag Grouper is best in November and December as these fish move into shallower waters to feed heavily before heading deep to spawn. The inshore charters has been having great success targeting Redfish as schools of them have moved into shallow waters to feed and warm up throughout the day. The Trout and Snook are moving into their winter pattern and will be more predictable in a month or so.
