June is here and officially starts the season for American Red Snapper, our offshore charters have been enjoying better than average fish this week. Along with Snapper we have been catching grouper, Tuna, Yellowtails and more. This season will run until mid August then we will focus in on Grouper for the most part. In addition to these trips, we have been running quite a few wreck trips, targeting Goliath Grouper, barracuda, Sharks and more.
Our Inshore charters have been having great success with Snook and Redfish. The Tarpon have moved in along the Clearwater beaches and have been somewhat hit or miss depending on tides and conditions. This pattern will likely continue throughout the summer. Our kids fishing charters are also having success and are a great option for youngsters, families and beginers wanting to experience saltwater fishing.
