Warm temperatures have the inshore fishing red hot! Snook, Redfish and Trout are all biting good. Capt. Marlin has been running our inshore trips and absolutely crushing the fish. The Snook have been cooperating on the high tide with most fish hitting live bait, with a few taken on lures. The redfish have been hitting dead bait around docks and deeper water that provide some shade. Trout have been consistent around the grass flats and deeper pot holes have been holding nice fish.
In addition to those, there are plenty of Jacks, black tip sharks and bonehead sharks to catch. These provide for some drag screaming action and exciting strikes. The Tarpon fishing is also starting to heat up, and shouldn’t be long before we are in the heart of Silver King season here in Clearwater. These giants roam along our beaches, making them a fun target species in the clean water. Considered one of the hardest and most desired fish on any inshore anglers bucket list.
