We are happy to be officially reopened after shutting down to help stop the spread of covid19. Luckily we are right in the middle of spring, which is an excellent time of year for fishing in Clearwater Florida.
Our inshore guide Captain Marlin has been catching good amounts of Snook, Redfish and Trout on the half day charters. He is also starting to see more Tarpon move into the area, on the full day charters, it’s possible to fish for these huge fish, then switch it up and target other species as the sun gets higher.
The deep sea fishing has been all about Tuna the past couple weeks. We have been catching good number of these hard fighting and delicious fish and should continue to see that bite stay red hot. There has also been good mangrove snapper fishing along with Red Grouper. June first marks the beginning or Red Snapper season as well as Gag Grouper season so be sure to reserve a date as the openings will go fast.
Overall the fishing has been excellent, the weather is perfect and the beaches are open. There is no better time than now to go fishing!
